WATCH: Amnesty calls for war crimes probe into Israel’s destruction of south Syrian homes

Israeli forces have stepped up their raids and shelling in southern Syria, which resulted in the destruction of agricultural land and residential properties.

Right group Amnesty International has called for war crimes investigations into Israel’s attacks on Syria since the fall of the Assad regime.

Israel has seized additional Syrian territory beyond the occupied Golan Heights in a move that violates the 1974 disengagement agreement.

Syrian residents report frequent Israeli raids and the detention of young men, while the use of herbicides on agricultural land has left some farmers unable to access their fields.
