Morocco defend valiantly to frustrate Croatia

While Croatia had 65 percent ball possession, they could only muster five shots, with just two on target.

A draw is a good result for Morocco but will be frustrating for Croatia.

Next up for the 2018 World Cup runners-up is a potentially tricky game against Canada, before finishing the group stage against Belgium.

    Modric booed by Morocco fans

The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner is not proving popular among the Morrocco fans at the Al Bayt Stadium today.

He has been booed from the start, but a couple of crunching tackles have not helped his case.

If he does get sent off today, expect the Morocco fans to raise the roof!
