    Goodbye for now

That’s from Dunedin where New Zealand take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series.

So much for Pakistan to think about in a World Cup year.

Records aplenty for Finn Allen in his innings.

He certainly enjoyed himself – we hope you enjoyed the coverage too.

It’s India vs Afghanistan later in the final game of their series.

Do join us again for that if you can.

For now though, from me, Kevin Hand, it’s goodbye.

    Santner happy with plan

Allen was the star of the show but his skipper Mitchell Santner says the plan was to go out and hit big.

“Pakistan are a very good team and they’ve shown that. It was set up today by Allen,” he told NZTV.

“It’s nice to have a good score, it’s a small ground here and we looked for a big score and that’s what we managed to do.”

    Allen relishes the runs

Finn Allen registered the highest score by a New Zealand batter in a T20 international and claimed the world record number of sixes in an over.

“I’ve been working on a solid foundation and solid base,” he told NZTV

“Picking my moment and picking bowlers too but hitting the balls on their merit and where is supposed to go.”
