‘It feels amazing now’
Harry Kane has also been giving his reaction to this evening’s game. This is what he just told TNT Sports:
“It feels amazing now. It was a tough game; we knew it was gonna be difficult. Real Madrid in the Champions League have this special connection, and you need to be at the highest level to beat them and knock them out.”
On scoring 50 goals in a season: “I think it’s a reward for a lot of the hard work that we put in. Not just me, but the team. It wouldn’t be possible without the payers around me. For me, it is about keeping it going.”

Arsenal join Bayern Munich in the last four
The Gunners drew 0-0 with Sporting in North London this evening, ensuring that they reach the Champions League semifinals for the second successive season.
It was by no means a classic at Emirates Stadium, but the Premier League leaders did enough after winning the first leg 1-0.
Mikel Arteta’s side will face Atletico Madrid in the last four.

‘We feel really, really upset and really angry’
Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa has given his reaction to tonight’s match. Here is what he told TNT Sports:
“I think that was a great match in this second leg. We put players like Militao and Bellingham in, they couldn’t play in the first leg. We did a great match here, and we scored three goals, but I think with the red card, everything was over.”
On the red card: “It’s unbelievable that you send off the player for this action. It’s not possible in a match like that, that you are sent off for that. We feel really, really upset and really angry.”
On if this match was season-defining for Madrid: “Yes. Maybe because in La Liga everything is really difficult and there is a nine-point difference with Barcelona, but we have some matches to play, and we have to give our best.”

The end of the road for Arbeloa?
If Los Blancos do end the season trophyless, then questions will be asked about the future of manager Alvaro Arbeloa.
Former Real Madrid midfielder Steve McManaman and ex-Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard have been discussing the situation on TNT Sports.
“They are going to finish the season without a trophy again this year … previous seasons have always suggested that they will change the manager, and unfortunately, you feel sorry for Arbeloa tonight, as his game plan was excellent,” said McManaman.
“He probably will lose his job, but I don’t think he deserves that on the evidence of tonight,” added Gerrard.

Madrid’s season falls apart
Los Blancos are nine points behind Barcelona in La Liga and now out of the Champions League.
They certainly battled hard this evening and made Bayern work for their win, but it wasn’t enough, and they now face the very real possibility of a season without a trophy.

Madrid fume at Camavinga’s red card
There are reports that Madrid’s protests against the referee have continued in the tunnel.
A number of players ran straight to Slavko Vincic after the full-time whistle, clearly unhappy with his decision to show Camavinga a second yellow.
It looked like Guler was shown a red card in the chaos that followed the full-time whistle.
