First Somaliland ambassador to Israel presents his credentials

Somaliland’s first ambassador to a foreign country presented his credentials to Israeli President Isaac Herzog, following Israel’s recognition of the breakaway region’s independence last year. Somaliland declared separation from Somalia in 1991 but had remained internationally unrecognised for more than three decades.
